Cookie Policy
This page explains what www.innate.love stores on your device. The short answer is nothing. It covers the website only. The INNATE mobile app has its own Privacy Policy.
1. Who is responsible
Lotus Audaz, Lda is the data controller for this website. We are supervised by the CNPD, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados. The rules we follow are the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Article 5 of Lei n.º 41/2004, the Portuguese law that transposes the ePrivacy Directive. That article requires your prior, informed consent before anything is stored on or read from your device, unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for.
2. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. The next time you load a page, your browser sends it back, so the site can remember something about you or your visit. Some cookies are set by us (first party). Others are set by a company whose code runs on our pages (third party). Other storage, such as localStorage, works differently but the same rules apply.
3. We set no cookies
This website sets no cookies, first or third party, and writes nothing to localStorage or any other storage on your device. There is no advertising pixel, no Google Analytics and no social media tracking code on any page.
That is why you see no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask your consent for.
4. How we count visits without cookies
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies, writes nothing to localStorage, and builds no identifier that follows you to other sites. It sends a request when a page loads and the numbers are aggregated on the server. We only ever see totals, never one person's path through the site.
Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, the consent requirement in Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy rules is not engaged, and this measurement runs without asking. The one piece of personal data involved, your IP address in the request, is processed briefly under our legitimate interest in knowing how many people visit. If we ever wanted to follow individual visitors, we would have to ask first.
5. Browser controls
Your browser can block or delete cookies for any site. Because this site sets none, blocking them changes nothing here: every page and the early-access form work the same.
6. Changes to this policy
If we ever add something that stores or reads information on your device and is not strictly necessary, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before it runs. Nothing like that will be switched on silently.
7. Contact and complaints
Questions about cookies or this page go to hello@innate.love. If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you have the right to complain to the CNPD at www.cnpd.pt.
